Hello! My name is Michelle Flynn (she/her) and this is my 4th year teaching for Acalanes Union High School District. I teach the 2-D traditional arts (drawing, painting, printmaking): Art 1, Art 2, Advanced Art (Honors), AP Studio, and Independent Portfolio at Miramonte. I received my BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute (Photography) and my teaching credential from Cal State East Bay. I graduated with my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from CSUEB in May 2024. Prior to getting my credential, I spent 12 years working for East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, teaching and managing in-school, after-school, and summer arts programs. Outside of school, I am the proud momma of Richie, a freshman at DVC, and an energetic Yorkie named Puck. I love to hike and go camping. I also love movies- especially horror movies! Every year I have a horror movie festival for myself- this October will be my 13th year in a row!
